The Recycling Center is located behind the
Sanitary Engineering Administration office.

The center is open during regular business hours.
Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What do we take for recycling?

• #1 & #2 Plastics
• Aluminum Cans
• Steel Cans
• Cardboard
• Glass (all colors)
• Newspapers

Please rinse containers and discard the lids

Crush the cans, boxes and plastic containers

Items NOT taken:

• windows
• ceramic materials
• plastic insulation
• #3 - #7 plastics
• styrofoam
• NO liquids
• NO hazardous materials

You can also bring in your household batteries to the Recycling Center for proper disposal.
There are containers for the different types of batteries.

Lead acid batteries are taken through the transfer station. There is a charge by weight.
